From online pre-admission, both administrative and stay-related, to connected rooms, entertainment and multimedia, e-concierge services and more, Hoppen develops digital transformation tools and solutions for hospitals, so that patients are supported before, during and after their hospital stay. Every year, 2.8 million patients benefit from the services provided by the Rennes-based company, founded in 2011.

“Over the years, we have gained true expertise around patient comfort and support,” explains Séverine Arnaud, strategic marketing and communications director for the Hoppen Group, which equips more than 200 hospitals. Our strength lies in our ability to offer software solutions backed up by physical presence, thanks to our teams on-site who can take care of patient arrivals or admission, for example, and also accompany them throughout their stay, particularly in our multimedia corners where they can find all our service offers. To extend its range of offers, Hoppen has just launched a new digital platform including concierge and general services to improve the everyday lives of both patients and hospital staff.

The company, which is currently in a period of significant growth, has expanded from 45 to 360 employees in less than two years – with the acquisitions of Télécom Services, the No. 1 French operator of digital services in public hospitals, and Cineolia. “Our solutions also help make life easier for nursing staff, for example, by offering access to computerised patient files or meal ordering via our platform, so that they can return their focus to their primary functions,” adds Séverine Arnaud.

Already operating in Switzerland and the Middle East, Hoppen intends to significantly speed up its development in Europe and the Middle East.
