Africa Health is an annual health exhibition organized by Informa Markets. First organized in May 2011 in Johannesburg, the exhibition has significantly grown over the years. It is now considered one of the leading continental hubs for innovation and trade in Africa. It serves as a sustainable platform that brings together global healthcare stakeholders.
After a two-year hiatus, the exhibition reopened its doors from October 26th to 28th, 2022, at the Gallagher Convention Centre in Johannesburg. More than 350 exhibitors from 35 countries and 6,574 professional visitors (distributors, traders, private and public hospitals, buyers, exporters, and institutions) from 50 countries had the opportunity to participate in a 4,000m² exhibition space.
In 2023, the organizers estimate that the number of exhibitors is expected to double, making the exhibition even more attractive and attracting African healthcare professionals. This growth is notably driven by the co-organization of Medlab Africa, which will bring together exhibitors focused on medical laboratories, providing an ideal platform to connect with a wide range of stakeholders in this sector.
On the occasion of the 11th edition of the largest healthcare exhibition in the Africa region, Africa Health, and the Medlab Africa exhibition scheduled from October 17th to 19th, 2023, Business France offers you the opportunity to discover or strengthen your presence in the South African market and meet potential partners and clients. The program proposed by Business France’s local experts includes a preparatory phase, a seminar on the macroeconomic presentation and the South African healthcare market, a visit to a private hospital, a personalized visit to Africa Health, a program of qualified appointments with prospects identified before your visit (based on 10 targeted profiles), as well as a networking cocktail in the presence of the local ecosystem.
